We love all of the wonderful things that Karen Elaine Thomas can do with paper. In March, you'll get to see more of Karen's artistry both in her new book from Random House. She has also been busy designing origami kits that will be in Michael's stores in the spring. Way to go Karen!

We are gearing up for CHA Anaheim. These days, if you were backstage at PageSage
you would see the back of our heads
in front of our computers! We have been hard at work designing some
new DVD cover designs and a new catalog for 2008. (We will post a
version of the new catalog to our website after the show...for now we
thought you might want to see the new catalog cover. This will also be
a full page ad in an upcoming issue of Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion magazine.)
We are very excited about 2008. We have some exciting new artists and titles on the horizon. You will get a chance to see those new faces on Carol Duvall's upcoming DVD, Art Unscripted. We expect that DVD to be available in March. Several of the artists from this retreat DVD will also be participating in Art Unscripted LIVE, our special event for CHA. (We will be posting more about our CHA event in the next couple days.)
The Carol Duvall Show was HGTV's top rated show during its twelve year run. In that time, millions of crafters tuned in daily as Carol introduced us to new artists, crafts, and products. This year, CHA will be a big show for Carol She has three key events:
First, PageSage will be debuting her new DVD, Art Unscripted Retreat. We have also asked Carol to spend some time in our booth to meet with you, sign autographs, and say hello.
Second, Carol Duvall will be hosting Art Unscripted LIVE at CHA. We will continue to blog more about this event in the coming days.
Third...and this really IS the charm...drum roll please...Carol Duvall will be honored by the Craft and Hobby Industry with a lifetime achievement award! This is a newly created award...so we are thrilled that Carol is being honored as the initial recipient. Carol has done so much for countless artists and companies in this industry. We cannot imagine a better initial recipient for this award.
Carol is such a force in this industry, that we found posts about her on many of our favorite artist blogs. Look what our friends Jennifer Perkins from Naughty Secretary Club, Sarah Hodsdon, and Tim Holtz blogged. We also found posts on Dreaming Out Loud, CraftSanity, Families.com and Vickie Howell's blog. Carol is the keynote speaker at Synergy, the National Polymer Clay Guild conference.

A dozen incredibly talented celebrity artists have accepted our challenge to craft, laugh, and compete together. We will have more details to share in the coming weeks...but for now, please mark your calendars and join us for some spontaneous creativity.
This is always a crazy time of year as we get ready for the Craft and Hobby Association show, CHA. This a huge event, with over 1,000 different exhibitors. It is also a chance for us to get together with our friends in the industry. PageSage artists are typically scattered across the country...but for these four days, we are all in the same place.
If you are coming to CHA, we hope that you will drop by our booth (#5131). We transform the booth into a vintage movie theater. Relax on our incredible vintage theater seats and watch a clip from a PageSage DVD. And what would a theater be without popcorn? No worries...we will be popping fresh popcorn as well! We want to make it as fun as possible to drop by, sit back, and enjoy the show. We'll have some surprises too...so stay tuned to learn more. In the interim, we need to get back to work on some of those surprises!
